The first of its kind, the INK1000 is a highly specialised thermal inkjet printer delivering 600 dpi x 1200 dpi print quality. The Specialised printer design includes card heating technology to allow improved acceptance/adherence of ink to card substrate and aid in rapid drying. Cards are ready to be issued straight from print.

Print Quality

Unlike all direct to card printers the INK100 allows you to print true edge-to edge card coverage without white borders and you can print large block colours without blemishes or misprints. At 600 x 1200 dpi, the HID Fargo INK1000 provides much higher resolution that many desktop printers simply can’t match.

Resolution

Sharper, crisper images and text – Due to its high resolution, the composite black created by the HID FARGO INK1000 can accurately reproduce even complex characters, such as Kanji, Arabic and Cyrillic.

Reliability

As the INK100 uses snap-in ink cartridges as opposed to ribbon, there are far less parts involved in the print process meaning a lower % of any kind of technical issue where support maybe required.

As easy to use as a homebased inkjet paper printer. Setup and installation are quick and easy with your first batch of cards ready to print in minutes.

Encoding

The printer has an optional OMNIKEY 5127CK-Mini card encoding module that can be added. This can be used for:

• Gift / Loyalty cards using a QR code
